Holiday Beer Infused Cranberry Sauce
Ingredients
Beer Cranberry Sauce w/ Blueberries
  • 1/2cup Saisonthe rest is for you while you cook!
  • 3/4cup water
  • 1cup sugar
  • 12ounces fresh cranberries
  • 4ounces frozen blueberries
  • 1TBL grated orange zest
  • 1TSP grated ginger
Beer Cranberry Orange Sauce
  • 1/2cup beerWe used ORNG Double IPA from Wild Leap Brew Co.
  • 24ounces fresh cranberries
  • 1cup raw cane sugar
  • 1orange juiced
  • 1/2orange zest
  • 1/2 stick cinnamonadd to the last five minutes of simmer.
Instructions
Beer Cranberry Sauce w/ Blueberries
  1. In a medium saucepan bring water and sugar to a boil. Add cranberries and return to a boil. Reduce heat and boil gently for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Then add blueberries, orange zest, and ginger (if you want your sauce to have an extra kick!) and simmer for 5 more minutes, stirring occasionally. Mash cranberries and blueberries as desired. Pour sauce into a bow, cover, and cool completely at room temperature. Refrigerate until serving. Makes 3 cups.
Beer Cranberry Orange Sauce
  1. Combine beer, cranberries, sugar, orange juice, and orange zest in a pot. Bring to boil, turn to low, and simmer for 15 minutes. Chill for a few hours, or overnight.
