4th of July Beers that Celebrate America

Let freedom ring! This year marks the 241st celebration of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. 4th of July is full of some of our favorite American staples such as: barbecues, baseball, parades, fireworks, picnics, and beer! Whether you’re day raging at a friend’s house, taking the family out for a day on the bay, or simply setting up a hammock in a serene park, this day deserves to be celebrated with the ones you cherish. This beer is literally named #MERICA, how do you even top that? This old school, pre prohibition lager is the perfect 4th of July beer. Surly Brewing Co. actually brewed #MERICA specifically for an annual 4th of July party back in 2015. Needless to say, #MERICA is about as American as it gets.

Rogue AlesAmerican Amber Ale, American Amber Ale

One of Rogue’s first beers, the original American Amber was brewed in 1988. This beer is simply a great combination of malts and hops. Rogue suggests a food pairing of beef, which you will have plenty of at your 4th of July barbecue. Emblazoned with an American flag in the background, the front of the bottle displays what we can only assume is a classic American steel worker. Cheers!

This year 21st Amendment decided to add a twist to their fan favorite and created a sour, Watermelon Funk. A roller derby Lady Liberty with a Wonder Woman-esque feel and star shaped sunglasses adorns this canned beer. Our only question is how do we get that exact outfit?
