Avery Brewing GABF 2017 Events

Avery Brewing Company, a Boulder-based craft brewery and maker of White Rascal Belgian-Style White Ale, is gearing up for their 23rd year of the Great American Beer Festival (GABF). To celebrate, they have a few events lined up throughout Denver and up at their brewery located in Boulder, CO. If you haven’t been up to their main brewery yet, it is definitely worth the short drive. Here is a list of some of the exciting events that they are throwing during GABF 2017:

Special Tappings at GABF Booth

They are bringing back their barrels and will be doing scheduled barrel tappings of Rumpkin (Rum barrel-aged pumpkin ale with spices) and Tweak (Bourbon barrel-aged coffee stout) at their GABF booth. Rumpkin clocks in at 16.9% ABV. Tweak clocks in at 16% ABV. Pro tip: We recommend getting there early because the lines during their special tappings can get pretty long. That said, it is worth the wait.

Tapping Times:

Thursday through Saturday Sessions: Rumpkin, 7:00 pm. Tweak, 9:00 pm.
Saturday Early Session: Rumpkin, 1:00 pm. Tweak, 3:00 pm.

In addition to these two barrel tappings, Avery will have a special tapping of their collaboration beer with Odell Brewing at 8:00 pm each day and at 2:00 pm on Saturday early session. More details to come on this collaboration, but don’t miss it.
