Bikes, Boards, and Brews
Looking for a fun event that includes: live music, beach inspired art, a bike show, Mission Bay views, restaurant tastings, and craft beer? Well, we have the perfect event for you! It’s called Bikes, Boards, and Brews! On Saturday, May 6th from 1:00-5:00 p.m., Discover Pacific Beach will host its 8th Annual Celebration of PB Culture at Crown Point Park. The event will include tastings and pairings of local craft breweries and restaurant samplings. A portion of the event will be blocked off for bike show sponsor, Pacific Coast Bicycle. The event allows locals to display their custom, vintage, fixed gear or any other kind of bicycle.
Event Details
Each ticket will include 10 tasters from San Diego’s craft brewers, food to pair with the brews from local Pacific Beach restaurants, and live music. VIP tickets will allow for early entrance at 12:00 p.m. to enjoy additional beer and food samples while socializing with brewers about their beer. In case you’re wondering which breweries will be in attendance here is a preview: PB Alehouse, Coronado Brewing Co., Amplified Ale Works, The Lost Abbey, Firestone, Resident Brewing, Refuge Brewery, Mikkeller Brewing, Bitter Brothers, Lagunitas, and Embarcadero Brewing. As for food samplings, Woodstock’s Pizza, Sandbar, Cerveza Jack’s, Bareback Grill, Tavern at the Beach, and Board and Brew will be among those who are present at the festival.
