Convoy Flight #9 Pub Crawl on 4/29!
One of the first things that we learn as children is that sharing is caring. Luckily, Convoy Flight is back and willing to spread the liquid love. For its’ 9th iteration, they’re bringing the Firestone Walker Brewery to San Diego. For the uninformed, Convoy Flight is an event where the top beer loving bars bring the beer here. With former features including Saint Archer, Abnormal, and Nickel Brewing, the only thing missing is you.
These craft brews will be featured in Convoy’s most beer-oreintated bars: Common Theory Public House, SOHO Gastropub, O’Brien’s Pub, and Shanghai Saloon. While they don’t exclusively have these on tap, specialty beers only cost $5. So, in the sake of being frugal, you might have to drink one (or a couple) of them, just to get your money’s’ worth.
But if you can’t find anything that tickles your fancy, Common Theory Public House has you covered. With over 30 unique beers on tap, there’s bound to be something for someone; it’s almost statistically impossible to not enjoy yourself when you’re here.
While beer is great, it hardly constitutes a meal (despite having a million carbs). Common Theory, fortunately, has a full fledged kitchen, meaning you don’t have to stuff your face with bar nuts.
The best part about the Convoy Flight? All of these bars are within a couple blocks of each other, making this pub crawl…walkable. Flights board on Saturday, April 29th at 3 o’clock; hit up any of the aforementioned bars for a quick layover including some good beer and good food.
