SDIBF 2017: The Biggest Beer Fest on the West Coast
The biggest beer festival on the West Coast is making its way to Del Mar this June. The San Diego International Beer Festival assembled breweries from around the world to bring us a variety of styles, brands and flavors of unique beer. SDIBF will take place June 16th-18th, 2017 at the Del Mar Fairgrounds.

We aren’t kidding when we say that SDIBF is the biggest beer festival on the West Coast. There will be over one hundred different breweries bringing you hundreds of diverse beers. There are way too many beers for us to list so be sure to view the full list of breweries here. Tasting beers that you would not otherwise have the opportunity to is one of the great things about SDIBF. A number of rare, special beers will tapped at the SteamPunk Ale Pavilion. These rare beers will be tapped throughout the day at specific times, so make sure to keep an eye on the schedule.
Not only is this event for breweries to share the love with endless samples, it is also a chance for them to receive much deserved recognition. The beer competition is fierce and if won, it is a distinguished honor. Last year’s Champion Brewery medal went to AleSmith Brewing Company. The competitions aren’t solely for breweries…there will be a number of crowd competitions as well! Best pretzel necklace, best costume, best beer belly are among the many crowd competitions.
Fun for the whole family
This event will be fun for the whole family. Your ticket to SDIBF includes a ticket to the Del Mar Fairgrounds. Bring the little ones to the petting zoo and then make your way back to sampling your new favorite beer. Spend your day intermittently between sampling beer, riding the ferris wheel and eating a massive amount of fried foods.

SDIBF will host a number of educational and entertaining displays as well as vendors and demonstrations.
